“God will steer the boat but you must row.” Ever felt like you’re drifting through life—like you’re waiting for a sign or direction? Maybe you’re praying for guidance, but nothing seems to change.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river. God is the captain—He’s steering, deciding the direction—but you’re the one who has to row to move forward. In other words, God provides the guidance and the plan, but it’s up to us to put in the effort and take action. It’s a partnership between God’s divine direction and our human responsibility. (Proverbs 16:9)
