In today’s world, these two get tangled up all the time. Think about social media—likes, shares, and comments can feed our ego, making us feel good temporarily. But true confidence? That’s different. It’s not shaken by a lack of applause.

It’s knowing I’m built by God.” This is a game-changer. It’s saying that real confidence comes from understanding we’re not random or insignificant—we’re intentionally created by God. We’re “built” by Him, like a craftsman shaping something with care and purpose. (Psalm 139:14)

When we know we’re built by God, we don’t have to scramble for approval. We can chase our goals not to prove something, but to live out the calling He’s placed in us. It also helps us face setbacks. Failure might sting, but it doesn’t define us—God’s view of us does.
