Faith Is Bold

“Faith is bold because it knows the battle belongs to the Lord.”

Big Idea

Bold faith doesn’t pretend the battle isn’t real—it remembers whose battle it is.

When the battle belongs to the Lord, we don’t fight for victory—we fight from God’s strength and direction.

Key Scriptures (NLT)

1 Samuel 17:47 — “This is the Lord’s battle…”

Exodus 14:14 — “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

2 Chronicles 20:15 — “The battle is not yours, but God’s.”

Philippians 4:6–7 — “Pray about everything… Then you will experience God’s peace…”

Romans 8:31 — “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help…”

What Bold Faith Knows

1. God fights battles in ways we wouldn’t choose—but always in ways that reveal His power.

2. Worry tries to take control; faith transfers ownership back to God.

3. Peace is not the absence of conflict—it’s confidence in God’s presence.

4. Prayer + Worship as Warfare

5. Prayer is not a last resort—it’s our first response (Phil. 4:6–7).

Worship shifts the atmosphere:

it lifts our eyes off the enemy

it reminds our soul who God is

it strengthens our courage (2 Chron. 20:21–22)

Today’s Faith Steps

Step #1: Name the battle (be honest about what you’re facing).

Step #2: Transfer ownership: “Lord, this battle belongs to You.”

Step #3: Pray before you panic.

Step #4. Worship on purpose—especially when fear is loud.

Step #5. Obey the next step God gives you.

Takeaway

You’re not fighting alone.

God has not called you to carry what He promised to fight.

Faith is bold because it knows the battle belongs to the Lord.
