The Gate — J Calaway — Make Today Count
‘When you go all in, abundance is no longer what you pursue—it’s what overtakes you.’ Isn’t that powerful? It flips the script on how we usually think about chasing success or happiness. Instead, it says that when you fully commit, abundance just shows up.
So, what does ‘going all in’ really mean? It’s about giving everything you’ve got—your focus, your energy, your heart—to something that matters. It’s not about dipping your toes in; it’s about diving headfirst into your purpose. Maybe that’s your career, your relationships, your personal growth, or your faith. Going all in means no holding back, no Plan B—it’s full commitment.
For example, think about someone starting a business. Going all in might mean putting in the long hours and taking risks because they believe in their vision. Or in a friendship, it’s being there through thick and thin, not just when it’s easy. In faith, it’s trusting God even when you can’t see the next step.
When you’re all in, you stop chasing abundance—it starts chasing you. But what is abundance? It’s not just about money or stuff. It’s a richness of life—think joy, peace, opportunities, and even provision. It’s the overflow that happens when you’re aligned with what you’re meant to do. (Matthew 6:33)
You don’t have to chase provision or peace. Go all in on God, trust Him completely, and abundance comes as a byproduct of that faith.
When you go all in—on your purpose, your people, your faith—abundance doesn’t stay out of reach. It overtakes you. Matthew 6:33 reminds us that seeking God first sets it all in motion. So, make today count. Pick your spot, go all in, and trust that God’s abundance will follow.
