'You don’t become what you want; you become what you believe.' Beliefs are more than just thoughts; they shape our actions and consequently our lives. (Proverbs 23:7). Our inner thoughts and beliefs define who we are and how we act.
If you believe you are capable and worthy, you’ll take steps toward your goals. Conversely, if you believe you're not enough, that belief will hinder your progress. It’s crucial to assess what we genuinely believe about ourselves.
This isn’t simply, I think I can, I think I can. There is faith linked to belief that give evidence to the things unseen and hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1) Our faith fuels our beliefs, and when we align our faith with God's promises, we unlock incredible potential.
David believed he could defeat Goliath because of his faith in God. The problem comes when we have faith but no belief or limiting belief. I have faith in God but he won’t do this through me. Change your thinking and renew your mind. (Romans 12;2)
We must renew our minds and challenge those limiting beliefs. Ask yourself: What negative beliefs are holding me back? Write them down.
