Foundations

The Bible is the inspired Word of God - wholly trustworthy and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and conduct. Where Scripture speaks, the argument is over.

There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - one in essence, distinct in person, equal in glory. Not three gods, and not one God wearing three masks.

Fully God and fully man - conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified as our substitute, bodily raised, ascended, and returning as King.

Every person is made in God's image and carries a dignity no government, market, or majority confers - and none can revoke.

Humanity's rebellion in Eden fractured our relationship with God, one another, and creation itself. Sin is not a flaw to manage but a rule we chose.

Salvation is God's gift, received through repentance and faith in Christ alone, producing a genuinely new birth - never earned by works, always evidenced by them.

The Spirit indwells every believer at conversion. We also hold to the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct empowering for witness, and we believe the gifts of the Spirit are active in the church today.

Two ordinances given by Christ to his church: water baptism as the believer's public declaration, and the Lord's Table as ongoing remembrance and proclamation until he comes.

The church is the body of Christ, expressed locally wherever his people gather under his Word. At The Gate that happens in homes - hubs - because the first-century pattern was a table before it was a building.

The kingdom of God has broken in and is not yet complete. Christ will return bodily; the dead will be raised, the world judged in righteousness, and all things made new.
